Office Essentials Terms and Conditions for FREE Wireless Charger Give Away

1. The Promotor

The promoter is Office Essentials, Lowmoor Business Park, Kirkby in Ashfield Notts NG17 7LA.

2. The Competition / Give Away

2.1 The title of the Give Away is “The BIG Give Away FREE Wireless Charger” – The first 100 qualifying orders will receive the chargers.

2.2 The Give Away will run from Thursday 1^st August 2024 until the 6th September 2024, or as soon as the quantity of 100 chargers has been given away. The mobile chargers are worth £15.00 and no alternative will be provided.  Once the 100 assigned have gone the prize-draw will end.

3. How to enter

3.1      Place an order for any product as defined on the giveaway, between Monday 12^th August and the 6th September 2024 and you will receive one of the free mobile chargers, up to and including the first 100 qualifying orders.

3.2      You can only win once during the qualifying period.

3.3      By placing an order with Office Essentials, you are agreeing to be contacted, using contact details you have provided.

3.4      Office Essentials will not accept responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any online platform or internet failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

4. Eligibility

4.1      The prize draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except: 4.1.a employees of Office Essentials or its holding or subsidiary companies;

4.1.b employees of agents or suppliers of Office Essentials or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the giveaway or its administration; or

4.1.3 members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

5. The Prize

The prize is a Qi™-Certified Wireless Charging Pad and USB charging cable – 5W (Wall Plug and/or Phone Not Included).  The prize is worth £15.00 and no alternatives are available.

6. Winner Announcement

You will be contacted by one of the Office Essentials team, to confirm you have won one of the 100 mobile chargers and there will be 100 qualifying orders/winners out of the whole of the prize draw.

7. Claiming the prize

Office Essentials will make all reasonable efforts to contact the eligible winners. If the prize winning cannot be contacted within 7 days of being contacted via email and/or telephone, Office Essentials reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible orders/winners.

8. Limitation of liability

As permitted by law, Office Essentials, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Office Essentials, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. General

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Office Essentials may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

Office Essentials reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the FREE options where it becomes necessary to do so.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Ownership of scheme entries and intellectual property rights

All prize draw entries and any accompanying material submitted to Office Essentials Ltd will become the property of Office Essentials.

By participating in the prize draw, you agree to:

• assign to Office Essentials all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
• waive all moral rights, in and to your participation and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

You agree that Office Essentials may, but is not required to, make your participation available on its website https://www.office-essentials.co.uk/ and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the scheme. You agree to grant Office Essentials a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the scheme entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the scheme entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.

10. Data protection and publicity

10.1 If you are one of the winners of the giveaway, you agree that Office Essentials may use your name, image, and town or county of residence to announce the winners.

10.2 By entering the giveaway, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the giveaway entry may be held and used only by Office Essentials or its agents and suppliers to administer the giveaway.

10.3 Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with the current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent. Data relating to entrants will be retained by Office Essentials for a reasonable period after the giveaway closes to assist Office Essentials in operating future competitions/prize-draws/giveaways in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the said activity.
